There was something so unabashedly American about Ralph Lauren's Team USA Olympic attire this year. From the bold colours, and luxe fabrics and knits, to the signature Ralph Lauren ultra-preppy, fresh-from-the-Hamptons style. In short, the entire lineup was impeccable.

Inspired, I asked myself—what if Ladey were to design a shamelessly Canadian Olympic collection that honoured our Great Canadian Heritage, celebrated our outstanding Olympians, and showcased our national colours in a way that rivalled Ralph Lauren's gold-medal performance?

Challenge accepted.

The inspiration for the mini capsule below came from the outfit I wore to the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver—it featured a pair of iconic red Hudson Bay mittens and a black and white scarf.
